The wooden mats are made of high-quality plywood glued with industrial grade adhesives to a PVC backing. The PVC prevents slippage and protects the wood from moisture. The mats are painted with special translucent paints developed at Kakadu, and coated with several coats of tough acrylic varnish. The combination makes for an extremely durable product.
The mats can be stepped on, cleaned with most cleaning agents, they are flexible and can be rolled up.
